Understanding Uptake of a New Self-Injectable Birth Control

Together with JSI, PATH, and the Access Collaborative, we worked with 5 country teams and 8 partner organizations to research data needs for the rollout of DMPA-SC/Sayana Press, a new formulation of self-injectable birth control. These needs were translated into the design of a new data tool that will support the country teams, while still providing insight for global coordinators and donors alike on DMPA-SC’s rollout and scale-up. The redesigned tool was built out and launched in 2022.
